The computerised death certificate is the indispensable foundation for executing inheritance partitions, releasing overseas bank assets, settling life insurance policies, transferring property titles, and processing family repatriation claims abroad. When submitted to foreign probate courts or expatriate financial institutions, it must carry MOFA attestation and embassy legalisation.

- Verify that the date, place, and cause of death are recorded accurately before proceeding to attestation.
