Why the NADRA record matters
NADRA holds the national identity record behind CNICs, B-Forms, FRCs, and computerised certificates. When a name spelling, date of birth, or parentage detail is wrong on that record, every certificate drawn from it carries the same error. The correction is filed at NADRA with supporting documents that prove the right details.
The most common corrections we handle are name spellings (especially where the passport spelling differs from educational records), dates of birth, father and mother name details, and CNIC number errors. The supporting documents vary with the change, for example a passport or old certificate for a name spelling, a school record or hospital document for a date of birth, and the parents records for parentage.
NADRA decides the correction against the evidence provided. Files that need a court decree, such as a full name change, take a different route through the courts first. We confirm which route your case needs before filing.

After the record is corrected, certificates are reissued and can move through attestation with the right details.
NADRA Certificate Retrieval (B-Form, FRC, Death)
NADRA issues computerised certificates directly from its central database for records it holds, including the B-Form (Child Registration Certificate) for minors under 18, the Family Registration Certificate (FRC) listing the whole household, and death certificates for NADRA-registered deaths. Each carries a unique registration number that government offices and embassies can verify online. The B-Form links a child to both parents from birth and is needed for school admission, a child passport, and proof of parentage in family visa files. It converts to a CNIC when the child turns 18. The FRC lists everyone in your household and how each person relates to the head of the family. Immigration officers use it to support spouse and dependent visa claims because it shows the family unit in a single record. NADRA builds it from the CNIC and B-Form links already in its system. The death certificate is the computerised official record used by banks, insurance companies, and courts before they release funds or process inheritance. NADRA draws it from the hospital discharge summary or the Union Council record. For home deaths, the Union Council record and a medical certificate of cause of death support the filing. For overseas use, these certificates move through MOFA attestation and then the embassy stamp, or the MOFA apostille for Hague members including Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain. We handle the filing quietly and return the certificate to your address.
Civil Registration Certificate Retrieval
Our marriage certificate retrieval and civil registry services handle the Union Council, Nikah Registrar, and Arbitration Council records across Pakistan. Civil-registry documents, a Nikah Nama marriage record, a Union Council birth record, divorce and single-status certificates, are created by the local registrar, not by NADRA. The distinction matters because the retrieval workflow differs. The Nikah Registrar files the marriage record, the Union Council files births, and the Arbitration Council handles divorce. NADRA computerises some of these records later, but the original civil-registry certificate comes from the local registrar. Embassies prefer computerised NADRA versions where they exist, so a marriage certificate is usually built from the nikah nama and both spouses CNIC records to carry a verifiable registration number. For spouse visa applications to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and the UK, this certificate is required. For non-Hague Gulf destinations (the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait) it then needs MOFA attestation and the embassy stamp. Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Bahrain are Hague members, so the MOFA apostille applies there. If the original nikah nama or birth record has been lost, a duplicate can usually be recovered from the union council or the Nikah Registrar. We manage the recovery process and file the retrieval on your behalf. Neither spouse needs to visit the office. The filing usually completes in 2 to 3 working days once the paperwork is ready.
