What the UAE employer and embassy verify
Your employer submits the attested documents with the work permit application. The final step runs through the UAE immigration channels and typing centres.
The attested originals are checked against your identity records in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the other emirates.
The Dubai file runs through GDRFA (General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs), while Abu Dhabi and the northern emirates run through the federal ICP (Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security) system.
