Customs clearance for Pakistani export consignments in Gulf and global ports requires an official Certificate of Origin. Issued by the local Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the document certifies that goods were manufactured in Pakistan, enabling tariff preference and import compliance.
Importing authorities and overseas customs use the CO to apply tariffs and trade agreements, which is why the attested CO is a routine part of cross-border trade documentation.
